The cleanest results

No residues are left behind by our system, as the media is water soluble and can simply be washed away – even from components with small passageways. In fact, our system can achieve better cleaning than traditional CFC solvents. All this is most often achieved without any surface pre-cleaning.

Safe and beneficial

The Ecoblast® system, when coupled with electrical grounding, produces no thermal sparks so is safe to use in volatile areas. The media is also alkaline so is ideal for neutralising surface acids.

Accurate and non damaging

Due to the friable nature of the blast media, no damage is caused to the underlying surface. The peening effect so common with bead blasting does not occur so any cracks are fully exposed making inspection much easier.

The system is so adjustable we can even remove contaminants from glass without causing etching damage.

Low environmental and health & safety impact

The system produced only a fraction of the waste volume of traditional blast methods. Clean up operations are also very simple, as the media is water soluble, and not classed as toxic, so can be flushed into sanitary drains and normal sewers. In fact, the effects of the bicarbonate media is often beneficial to many water treatment systems.

We believe the total cost of cleaning per unit area with our system is comparable or better than traditional sand blasting.
